AKSG PRERAK

Anandi Kutumb Samriddh Gram Prerak

The Anandi Kutumb Samriddh Gram (AKSG) Prerak is a person who has devotion to the AKSG programme, and who wishes to walk with village people so that the five dimensions become practice in village life.

A Prerak may live in a village, a town or a city. The work is done on the ground with village people, or a Prerak may live in a city and still contribute actively to village development. What this requires is devotion to the AKSG programme, and readiness to work with village people.

The Prerak Approach

This is not employment, and it is not a conventional job.

It is an invitation to people who have faith in the AKSG programme, and who wish to take responsibility with village people.

01

The basis of this role is devotion to the AKSG programme

It is neither a course, nor a degree, nor a scholarship.

02

Work on the ground

Walk with village people so the five dimensions of AKSG become practice in the village.

Individual or Couple

Prerak: Individual or Couple

An AKSG Prerak may walk this path as an individual or as a married couple.

Prerak as an Individual

A person may take up the responsibility individually, bringing their own time, commitment and abilities to walk with village people and support the five dimensions of AKSG.

Prerak as a Couple

A married husband and wife may take up the responsibility together as Preraks. They may share their time, abilities and responsibilities, and walk together with village people so that the five dimensions of AKSG become lived practice in the village.

Whether as an individual or as a married couple, the foundation remains the same: devotion to the AKSG programme, readiness to work with village people, and responsibility for the whole of the five dimensions.

The Five Dimensions

A Prerak works with village people across all five dimensions of AKSG.

The five dimensions are one whole. A Prerak stays responsible for this whole, even if their interest is stronger in one dimension.

01

Education, Values and Consciousness Development

Walk with children, youth and families so that value-based education, consciousness development and an understanding of life-values can become part of lived practice in the village.

02

Health Programme

Walk with people towards a healthy and responsible way of living, not only towards treatment.

03

Production Programme

Support production, natural farming, skills and livelihood work in the village.

04

Justice & Security Programme

Strengthen trust, dignity and harmony, and care for the village’s common resources.

05

Exchange & Prosperity Programme

Encourage mutual cooperation, fair exchange and collective prosperity.

On the Ground

The Prerak’s Work

To inspire Anandi Kutumb and a prosperous village, and to work actively for it.

Walking with village people in the five dimensions of AKSG

Helping a family, group or village take a clear step from idea to practice

Working with the Gram Panchayat, school and local groups where the village is ready

Staying connected with the larger AKSG effort, so local work is not isolated

From Dedication to Village Work

An AKSG Prerak is a person of devotion to the programme, who walks with village people so that One Earth · One Nation · One Family becomes a way of living in the village.
